About Cardiac Monitoring Center
The CMC began pacemaker device follow-up 22 years ago in Little Rock, Arkansas and moved to St. Petersburg, Florida in 1998. At CMC, our team of certified technicians and RN's are highly trained to detect both cardiac problems and internal electronic problems within the ICD/IPG devices.
If our technicians note a potential problem with a patient's remote interrogation or TTM ECG, the report is immediately faxed to the patient's cardiologist or our staff Board Certified Cardiologist (if the patient does not have a cardiologist). All reports are put through secondary review by our senior technicians before being sent to the cardiologist. Additionally, we send both normal and abnormal reports to each physician on a weekly basis for final review. We check ICD’s/IPG’s every 90 days. This ensures optimum patient care, verifying that the patient's implanted device is functioning properly.
We provide Remote ICD/IPG and TTM monitoring for all makes and models of implanted devices. Our computerized equipment organizes device data and reports using the Paceart system.
Cardiac Monitoring Center presently monitors over 4000 patients throughout the United States for more than 15 physician groups. We are proud of our reputation and welcome the opportunity to work with your clinic.
